We are going to have a ceremony at the monastery to mark the beginning of the Rains Retreat on 28 July 2018.

There will be three monks staying here for the Vassa this year. 

During the Vassa monks will concentrate on their practice and learning. They reduce their normal daily duties so that they can have more time for reflections and meditation. They do need support from the lay community for dana and other requisites.
