Vesak - The Buddha's Birthday

Program of the ceremony : 

 

Chanting of Blessings, an English Dhamma Talk, Offering Dana (food) to the monks.

A short Guided Meditation (15 mn), a shared lunch at 11:30 am.

 

 

"Vesak is the holiest celebration of the Buddhists around the globe which falls on the full moon day of May every year. It is a celebration of three remarkable events of the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and passing away (Parinibbana/Parinirvana).”
